I feel like the quirk "Slide and Glide" in reality is "Repulsion" Which allows the user to repel, or completely ignore repulsion.
It'd explain his projectiles, as it would be condensed air that he repels away, it'd explain the floating and gliding, as he's slightly repelled from a surface and in doing so reduces friction, but can also repel himself in any direction he desires.
And sticking to surfaces is the absence of repulsion altogether, which results in sticking to a wall.
