In MHA, transformation quirks are one of THREE types that exist. They allow the user to transform their body in some way, with an obvious example being Kirishima's ability to "harden" is body. This video will explain the best 8 transformation that we've ever seen.

Mirio was able to hold off overhaul even when he lost his quirk ... So I wouldn't say that Aizawa can beat him even if he turns off his quirk .... Because his strength doesn't come from permeation, it's something he trained hard for

Ok, Tamaki's Quirk has to be in my Top 5 Quirks. Seriously, his Quirk has an amazing potential and makes me question this:

What if Tamaki ate human flesh? Would he be able to transform parts of his body into that person's and use its Quirk?

The thing about permeation is that is not that great of a quirk by itself, a person that does not have the resolve of mirio would not have gotten very far with it, that being said, I agree that it is probably the best transformation quirk BECAUSE it's user decided to actually try to improve with it instead of giving up, mirio literally MADE his quirk into an amazing, almost unbeatable ability!
Which is why he's like the best character imo

Can we talk about the fact that Mirio is supposed to be invisible when he phase through stuff?

Mirio is not as strong as everyone says he is. That's why Aizawa's claim that Mirio was the closest to being the future Number 1 hero always seemed like a bit of a stretch to me. If he had One For All, maybe he would have been a threat, but Mirio just isn't cutting it with his normal human body. Sure, his body is at peak physical perfection, but anyone with a strength buff Quirk can easily outpace him in terms of raw power. There's also the fact that anyone with a defensive Quirk, like Hardening or Shock Absorption, or even a Quirk that give them a defensive body, like Muscular or that trigger-using blade villain Kirishima fought, can completley mitigate Mirio's physical attacks and even deal some damage to him if their bodies are hazardous to touch, like Kirishima. Sure, you can argue that his displacement launching technique allows him to rush at his enemies at high-speeds, but no matter how fast Mirio can move, he's still using human strength to hit his enemies. This is hella effective on people with human bodies, but anyone with a higher defence won't even be bothered. There's also the fact that his Quirk has so many drawbacks, like how he can't go fully intangible without falling off the face of the Earth. That's the thing. If he wants to stay upright, he can never go fully intangible. He has to keep at least his feet solid to root himself. He also can't see, hear, feel, smell, or even breathe when he's using his Quirk, so the length of time he can keep his Quirk active on his face for is directly proportionate to the amount of time he can hold his breath. So he won't be able to stay intangible for long, meaning if someone has an AOE attack they cna keep up for a long time, Mirio is screwed, because the second he deactivates his Quirk comes up for air, he'd be instantly affected by the AOE attack. Don't get me wrong, I love Mirio and his backstory is amazing, but he's overhyped in terms of strength.
