The story about Russian Yachts changing their names to conceal their location/identity is a hoot & harkens back 45 years ago to when the Russian Navy used to change the Hull Numbers of its warships on patrol to make it appear that more vessels of a certain class were on patrol. I personally observed this from a US Navy ship & it was a common joke to see the process taking place.

The 'mini-documentary' on costs was OUTSTANDING. It was shocking to consider such large numbers & such rare expenses? Insurance on a 'yard run' vessel vs. and owned vessel ($1MM/mo.!!!) + staff pay ($250k/mo.) + Yard fees + maint. expense- WOW! Per vessel & per property. I thought Italy was already bankrupt?

I watched your mini documentary on the cost of super yachts and it was quite interesting and I can appreciate all the hard work that went into making it. As a former Flight Attendant I have flown around many wealthy people, you would even be surprised how many people who have money you would never know it by looking at them. Of course I respect them and due to the position that I held we would never divulge who and what they were doing or going and to this day I still do not talk of them but wow! these cruise ships ( that’s what they look like) are unbelievably huge and it’s hard to comprehend that kind of money for a toy. But I still think I would like to work on one, I just don’t know where to begin. As for the people that don’t understand a joke! Just ignore them and I love when you joke because when you smile you just light up!

As someone who lives in San Diego and works on the bay a few days a week...Amadea was moved to the opposite side of the same terminal so no difference in security dockside, and it is actually in a very narrow channel that leads to a marina, one could argue it was more secure on the other side 🤷... looks to me that pasha Hawaii needed the slip for one of there bulk carriers that would not fit on the other side where Amadea is now. Also the blue ship (SEAWARD ENDEAVOR) you see in the photo you showed that was docked behind Amadea was anchored in the middle of the bay all day today. Looks to me it was a case of a bulk carrier needed the space. That 10th Ave marine terminal is a very active cargo location and huge with cars and for pasha Hawaii
