A young girl, who was still a trainee at a firefighters academy, was faced with constant sexism and harassment. Aside from the physical training, she had to endure the fire station chief's inappropriate behavior, which included mansplaining and prejudiced remarks. Instead of handing her proper assignments. the chief kept making her run 50 laps around the training ground. Was the girl able to overcome her boss' bullying and succeed in her dream of becoming a firefighter?

What is your opinion regarding female firefighters?

I had a flare up from COPD and by God's grace I had a EMT save my life and It was a woman. Had she not did what she did I would be dead.

My outcome:

After April graduated from the academy, the fire department was able to put out more fires and save more lives than it ever has before, all with the help of April. She was praised as both a hero and one of the fire department’s finest on so many occasions, and she eventually became the fire chief. Mr Hoggarth, however, got drunk on the day he was fired, which led to him attempting to assault a woman that turned out to be a FBI agent who was on duty at the time. This led to Mr Hoggarth paying a fine of $250, 000, and being sentenced to 8 years in prison.

If I saw a firefighter chief be that sexist to a woman firefighter, I would give him a valuable lesson and he’ll go home with a black eye.

There's no place anywhere for sexism, April is one of my favourite actress along with the actor who played the fire chief and I believe that anything a woman puts her mind to she can do it ..

To sommeone who is not exposed to the World out there, I get to learn a lot here. Thank you for this life lesson. We must continue to learn to treat each other justly...

The instructor is the best actor ever, even though he is so mean on this role....

She was the newbie, but was shamed for breaking the mold to be the only girl among male firefighters!! Her colleagues and Captain were patronizing her, never accepting her as an equal!!! this toxic nature has to go from the workplace, it is a stain on the reputation of brave men and women who work as firefighters!!! Time to end this for good!!!!

I saw almost every your video. And it's hard to realise how mean the society is to fire someone like a useless object. Yes, a person acted wrong. Whether won't it be right to speak in appropriate circumstances, in the office, like civilized men, according to instructions and managers' skills? It's so primitive to kick out someone in a situation where everyone is in emotions. They humiliate a guy and also they humiliated their own management skills. So stupid.
I am from another country, and hope we will never have such attitude.
And also, recently I saw the video of the firemen competition, they really need to be speed and powerful. This chief saw how weak a girl is, but instead of staying in professional sphere of the standards started to humiliate her by her gender.
P.S. Fire service team from my city won silver medal in firemen's competition! I am proud of them!
