I live in a small town in Quebec, about 50 mins from Montreal. One of my town guy got his truck stolen, he tracked down the thief, found him in the nightclub in another town, brought a few of his friends, beat the thief up. Next day, we heard the thief got cripple. The guy got his truck back. It's a mistake to wait for the police to handle the case.

The simple way is to get a steering lock bar!
All cars should have finger prints or face recognition MATCH or the car alarm will be set off and ignition will be disabled.
Owners PIN will then be required to restart the car !!
