I have a Midge head and I kind of want to get the swirl ponytail bang look, like you did! It looks like you just styled it rather than created plugs through the forehead, though, correct?

Do you seal the paint and pastels to prevent damage, chipping or fading? And do you do any work on pink box era dolls?

I'm learning to reroot, but I never get the hair to lay smooth. I do follow your method of heat setting the hair. I'm wondering if I'm using too much hair in the plugs. I'm using a size 7 needle. How many strands do you recommend? I can't find size 8 needles.
