1965 Swirl Barbie Re-root

Restoration of a Swirl Barbie from 1965. This doll had a very bad hair cut. I was able to give her a full re-root. Now she is just about as good as new. I have nother Video on the way that shows how to style the Swirl ponytail. That can be the tricky part.

With split I put head in boiling water to close it as much as it will, then use flexible loctite super glue then put loctite for vinyl fabric and plastic on inside and outside to reinforce.

hello Sarah, thank you for this video. i am hoping to win an auction for a blonde and brunette swirl bang vintage barbie and one of their hair is very choppy so this method of hair removal looks more safer then the picking tool i use for newer doll reroots. i was curious if you had any recommendations on dealing with the oily face to yellowing skin issues and if you tried the dental tablet method and if it works?
