Meteora is an incredible place. When you go, go to the monasteries. It is a moment like no other. You will feel majested, not only spiritually. I would suggest also that you visit the nearby city of Trikala and Elati and Pertouli skiing "resort". A preferable season for these places is winter.

I always said it: if you're looking for the perfect place to chill, go where monks used to go to isolate themselves. Elevated, great views, open air terraces and seating areas...monks and weedsmokers both crave the same spots^^
