The Bill of Rights

The right to stand up for what we believe in is as American as apple pie and is protected under US law by the Bill of Rights: a list of ten amendments to the US Constitution that almost never existed.

The American Battlefield Trust preserves America’s hallowed battlegrounds and educates the public about what happened there and why it matters. We permanently protect these battlefields for future generations as a lasting and tangible memorial to the brave soldiers who fought in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, and the Civil War.

Rights aren't rights if someone can take them away. They are more like privileges.

The video is incorrect that the Bill of Rights contain "civil rights". It does not. The Bill of Rights enumerate God-Given rights that the government may not impede under any circumstances. On the other hand, "civil rights" are invented by government within laws passed, that can just as easily be taken away by future laws.

Without the bill of rights, how would the US be today? If the dems have their way, we might find out soon.

Let's be clear here. The 2nd amendment is about states raising militia for the defense of the state.
