Buckingham Palace and Ngozi Fulani have issued a joint statement saying a meeting "filled with warmth and understanding" has taken place between Lady Susan Hussey and Ms. Fulani.

Lady Hussey had repeatedly questioned the charity founder on where she "really" came from, at a charity event.

She is said to have offered her sincere apologies for the comments that were made and the distress they caused to Ms Fulani.

She was born in London and called Marlene Headley. This African persona she is adopting fools nobody. Especially the Charity Commissioners investigating a charity she runs.

The trouble with appologising to people like Fulani Whatshername is they do not take it with good grace. It will always be held as a gotcha moment. No class. It's the scorpion story.

Fulani is a professionally offended troublemaker. It’s sort expect the King to take the knee to it.

Does that mean that Fulani wont attend any more cocktail parties at the Palace?

The remarks were not racist! Ngoki Fulani was never distressed at the questions; she just had an activist mindset.

In RF statement still nothing to thank Lady Hussey for her loyal and dedicated service to the crown for 62years!!??? Disappointing.

This poor woman was humiliated and forced to apologize. She was let go by William and Charles after all those years of dedication to them. They did not bother to investigate the details. That apology will not look good because now Meghan can make another docu saying how right about royals being racists she was. That apology will play into the hands of M and H. Ngozi is an open supporter of Meghan. Last year she tweeted her support for Meghan and praised her for standing up to abuse from Charles. She hates royals. I think the way they handled the whole situation will look very bad on the royals. I get that this was a very sensitive and serious matter. But they should invite Ngozi and Lady Hussey to talk together and only then take action. They acted way too fast based on a one-sided argument. We just finished Netflix and now this. It all moves at a very fast speed and H and M must be really pleased and satisfied.

Ngozi wasn't in the mood for reconciliation when she was trashing the old lady on every news outlet she could. It looks like she had a change of heart after she got called out.

Maybe Ngozi should donate her fee from all of those media appearances to a charity that supports all victims of domestic abuse regardless of the colour of their skin...and maybe to a charity that isn't currently under investigation...unlike her own.

Disgraceful, should have been her receiving the apology and being immediately reinstated.

Which court of the land has decided that racist comments were made apart from a black presenter on sly news
