when it comes to the side effects of Finasteride, the only effects I've heard these transplant doctors talk about are the sexual ones, not one doctor has addressed the fact that more and more physicians are I favor of a warning label for Finasteride warning of the effects it can have on triglycerides and cholesterol. Finasteride comes with a price.

I'm so glad I saw Dr Vikram in January. I did my thorough research, had a chat with him in 2019 and also spoke with a few people who went to the Knusden clinic here in Melb and interstate. My expectations were realistic, yet high at the same time :)
I'm looking forward to seeing serious results in June to December this year. I'm having no side effects from finastrade whatsoever whether it's my mojo etc....

Hello Dr. I did my hair transplant from turky before 10 months. The first 4 months was so good hair were growing and no hairfall . but from 6th month extreme hair fall started. and it is still now going on. i discussed wth my turkish dr they dont help so much. i am using minoxidle spray and xpecia tablet. i dont know nobody tells me clearly what exactly is the problem.. i feel minoxidil spray is causing my hair fall . but some says minoxidil dont make hair to fall . please i need your help

I wonder if there will ever be an effective medication that does have the risk of gynecomastia? I had gynecomastia as a teen and adult and had surgery at 25 and the risk of that coming back is enough to make the current medications completely out of the question for me. I feel like this is a side effect that gets no attention and unless you’ve had gynecomastia, you can not fathom the horrifying reality of feeling like you’re trapped in a woman’s body. It’s horrible really.

Vatanmed doesn’t recommend using finasteride and minoxidil. They claim that transplanted hair follicles get used to the drugs and they can fall when treatment resumes. Do you agree with that?
I lost transplanted hairs in a certain area 2 years after hair transplant when I deceased minoxidil

Would you recommend people to take finasteride after 5 months from their hair transplant? Would shedding phase of finasteride effect badly for transplanted hair to grow at 5th month? Thanks in advance

when can you start drinking high amount of alcohols like 5-6 pints of beer or spirits on weekends? And what about smoking like 10 cigarettes a day.

So what if no one in your family is bald but out of nowhere you start losing your hair. In my case, that's what's happening to me. At one point in my time, I decided to use minoxidil on my hairline and that's when I noticed the thinning. before then it may have been a problem but having mid-back length hair I couldn't tell. I then cut my hair only to realize I have patches. What your take on this, I'm feeling as though maybe it could have been a temporary thing and everything should be fine. But am I wrong? Meaning what if I'm not suffering from baldness but something else given no one in my family are bald parents grandparents older siblings etcetera.

Today the clinic owner(not my treating doc) blamed COVID for hair loss....
