I take a look at two of the easiest to hit and easiest to launch fairway woods for 2022 and in particularly 3 woods. I compare the Ping G425 Max 3 Wood against Callaway Rogue ST Max 3 Wood. Plus there is a bonus golf swing tip / golf tip / golf lesson to help you rip your 3 wood from the ground!

I’ve always been a poor fairway wood player, recently added a g425 max and am really enjoying it. By far the easiest fairway I’ve used and the shape is very confidence inspiring to hit off the deck.

As much as I love the ‘22 Callaway Rogue ST Driver, the real WOW factor for me are in the new line of Callaway Rogue ST fairway woods…I personally now play the 3 & 5 Wood Callaway Rogue ST LS fairway woods (in addition to the Rogue ST LS Driver) & have seen a very surprised increase in both distance & especially accuracy…7 handicap here.

Love your content Michael. Good to see a golfer who doesn't think he's a comedian! Very informative. I am getting fitted for a new set this summer and playing up at North Berwick will be looking for something to help me get a lower more penetrating flight through the wind. I really like the look of the Ping and will probably take it at 13.5/14 degree loft. Keep up the good work.

I got fitted for a ping g410 3 wood at Silvermere…. Love it so bought a g410 5 wood with the same shaft. Am contemplating upgrading the 3 wood now

as far as adjustable vs non... i think if you can get fit for the wood then it doesnt matter but if you buy off the rack adjustable is a must.

Adjustability is a must have in 2022 I bought the m6 fairway and needed more loft after I bought it and ended up selling it . I currently game g425 max 3 wood and love it

Got a Sim2 Ti adjustable 5 wood that's gathering dust behind a Cobra Offset glued 5 wood. Just a swing throught will do much more for most than an adapter adjustment, I think.

I game the currently game the Rogue Triple ♦️ driver, first gen Rogue 3 wood. I haven’t found a need to upgrade my 3 wood. I rarely use a 3 wood during a round.

I like the adjustable to raise the loft

Off the mat I buy these 2. Off grass and 1st cut. Cobra all day "rails"

Adjustability used to be a big deal for me until I bought the UW as a fairway wood replacement: lauches great, spin is ideal even on lower strikes, and quite easy to hit too

I've been searching for a 3 Wood that I can hit off the deck for years, so did some extensive testing this year and really loved the Rogue MAXD, nothing else came anywhere near it

I use Callaway Epic Flash 3 and 5 woods. I like the adjustability on them as I can turn my 3 wood into a 4 wood before a game if I want to with loft adjustment, and eliminates carrying that extra 4 wood club. The lie angle is also perfect for me. That Rogue looks very hot and with 14 yard total distance increase over the Ping in average, is a great club for anyone wanting distance and good looks.

I played a sim ti, for 2 yrs. Could NOT get along with it! Hated hitting 3 wood! Bought a stealth +, absolutely love that club, makes me enjoy hitting a 3 wood again, and love the positive crack

The ping is 2021, Stealth woods would be a good pick for 2022

I wouldn't say adjustability is necessarily why I bought my fairways. But, the flat lie angle (as a result of that adjustability in this case) is why I did. If it came bonded with that flatter lie angle, I would certainly consider that as well at a lower price point.

I have the cobra LTDx 5 wood, it has the rails on the bottom which I like could be a good option for most golfers, as the 3 wood doesn’t have the rails.
