DJI Neo Bike Tracking Demonstration

In this video I am demonstrating how the new DJI Neo does while tracking a bike. I am riding my electric bike and am using the DJI Neo's AI tracking with out a controller through a wooded area to demonstrate the capabilities when there are lots of obstacles. The DJI Neo does extremely well while riding at a casual pace. It would struggle with face paced extreme riding. This will be a great tool for hiking vlogs and those who want to add a new layer of creativity to their vlogs with out the hassle of launching a traditional drone.

Having zero vision sensors the Neo tracking is impressive. Appears the Neo is following the path the subject travels and not the subject visually. The assumption being that if a subject took a path that path should be relatively clear of obstacles. Very smart. The M4P tracking depends upon its vision sensors to avoid obstacles, but this causes jerky stop and go flight as it negotiates the situation.

Thank you very much for this priceless info. Can you please explain a bit more about the difference in Video Quality between Neo and Mini 4 Pro? You said Neo has lower video quality; Is it just Lower HDR or also Lower Bit Rate and more Pixxelated footage. (For example is there difference when comparing 1080 60p or 4K 30p footage from Neo to Mini 4 Pro? ) I think Bit Rate is extremly important and people rarely talk about it.

What is this sorcery? Steam coming out. Ohh no sir... right now weather is 90F. This florida man is not going to canada, lol. On a more serious note, I have ordered fly more combo thing and also 3 additional batteries and 1 additional multi charger but then it dawned on me that despite that I am now covered in terms of batteries, I very seriously doubt 22 gigs of storage is going to last anything more than 2 batterie's worth. I have to figure out how to off load stuff on a hiking trip without connecting it to a laptop of wirelessly to a phone. Can you just connect some sort of dongle to the USB-C port with sd card to offload or is it more complicated that that? On a different note... kudos on your fitness journey. Amazing transformation. Keep it up sir.
