My latest Folly, 1999 Born Free BF23RK Ford E450 V10 Class B+

Born Free RV - 1999 BF23RK is my latest Folly. My patience endured waiting for this configuration to come onto the market and I haven’t stopped grinning since closing the deal. Now the transformation to a reliable off-pavement, go anywhere, in any weather, capable Recreational Vehicle begins. Here (I’ll call her Goldilocks), is getting a front clip by WeldTec Designs in San Diego. Her Offroad Front Bumper is on order at Buckstop, a full-body Bedliner paint job is scheduled for April near San Antonio, rear storage boxes are ordered from Owl Vans in Phoenix, a Baja Designs light bar and their auxiliary Offroad lights are waiting, a 12k Warn Winch will be installed during a UJoint (NC) 4x4 conversion that includes a rear axle locker, a custom rear bumper, and a heavy duty hitch fabrication scheduled in August. Life is Wonderful.

So THIS is the new “stallion for the corral”. Bravo !! 👏👏👏

I’ve never heard one negative comment about a Born Free rig. I concur, this is the “sweet spot” size-wise.

Can’t wait for a tour of the interior... 😉
