I recently bought these and love them. If anyone is wondering whether not you should get these...you should! I'm someone that absolutely hated in ear buds. Nothing felt comfortable to me at all. These are so comfortable to wear it's like they're not even there. What really sold me was the battery life & noise cancelling. I wanted to upgrade my airpods and decided to go with these instead of the airpod pros.

I replaced my air pod pro 2s after I lost one, with the Beats Studio plus. I do not regret the change I love these.

First review (and probably only review) that I’ve seen that said you can control the sound directly from the ear buds… thank you for the insight… have been thinking about these vs the AirPods Pro but the volume control was a big deal for me… so thank you for clarifying that you can use the beats to control volume… will be ordering some soon!

Intuitive and appreciated...I am used Apple and Android so this is perfect for my mobile communication and fitness needs when I travel for business.

You forgot to mention
- no auto pause in the earbuds and no wireless charging
- The case is also huge compared to everything else currently being sold.

Ive recently purchsed the Beats Studio Plus to replace my dying AirPods Pro. I was shocked to see the difference. Not only they are stronger, accurate performers, but the quality of the sound and particularly the Bass is superb. My top of the line Sony MX2 are still the best, BUT listening to Jazz music trio with a strong, clean and very natural Double Bass came as a total shocker! even better than my Sony's! They last forever and I got them for a great deal- $!29 ( instead of $169 at Costco on sale). Their only low point is their dongle is sooo small, it is hard to pull them out of the ear. ( A good point for athletes looking to run or work out with them- They will NOT fall out of your ears!) . Overall- they best bang for your buck!

I just got the Buds + a few days ago and I am happy I didn't buy the AirPods Pro 2. They are absolutely amazing, especially in the gym!

My brother in Christ you don’t tap the AirPods, you pinch the stem to pause, skip, activate noice cancelling, etc lol the swiping on the stem feature is for volume. And tbh I prefer that over pushing on a button into my ear like I used to with studios I used. Good video though, glad they work for you, whatever fits best is best.

Been thinking about picking these up. I was having the same problem as you where I felt like I was readjusting the AirPods Pro multiple times to keep it seated even just when doing a light jog. I think the lack of H1 chip and wireless charging are totally acceptable trade-offs for saving a few bucks.

Regarding the Airpods Pro 2, you pinch the stem. Not touch sensitive, it's pressure sensitive. To adjust volume, I believe you pinch and move up or down

9 hrs? There only 6 hrs I think you can get 9 if you turn the nc off but why would you that

In terms of just reliable audio and a good mic for calls these are a no brainer. If you only use one device and don't care about some of the minor missing features, absolutely get these.

For me though it's got a few small deal breakers.
Even though they're integrated directly into the Apple ecosystem you still have to manually connect to whatever device you want to use. I really don't get that.
And no ear detection on the buds is crazy. I got too used to the Airpods. Just pull the bud out and the music pauses.
But again as far as just basic BT buds I love these.

when you press the buttons does it hurt by pushing the earbuds deep into your ear 👂? or does it just take a light touch of the buttons to control your music and volume?

Do these quick connect easily to MacBook Pro, iPad and Apple TV when near them the way the air pods do?

I use the precision finding feature on the AirPods Pro 2 all the time and I don’t know if I’d want to give that up. I can definitely see the battery thing being an upgrade though. I don’t use my AirPods for more than a few hours a day so the battery life has never been an issue for me.
