Strength and Conditioning Coach here. Some things id like to add about Turinabol. Turinabol is NOT a weak steroid and is definitely better than drugs like D-ball referenced in this video. T-ball has an actuate effect on the nervous system, making explosive movements a lot easier and increasing total blood volume, which can increase one's cardio. The second effect being secondary to the primary function of the drug. It also has an incredibly short half-life, making it a fantastic drug if you want to run a compound in-between drug tests. Turinabol is NOT a cheap drug, it was not in a tainted supplement because it costs far more to produce than any over-the-counter supplement. He took it because it works and the likelihood of getting caught is low, not zero, but low.

Beige & Napoleon Blownapart = the YouTube MMA Long Form GOATs

These videos are so insanely well researched, well written, well edited, & overall produced in such a way that somebody can be completely unknowledgeable about MMA or the UFC & still get completely engrossed in this topic. When a Youtube notification for a new Beige video comes in, it's immediately appointment viewing.

I’ve never seen such admiration for a cheater getting constantly caught.

“It’s the most Jon Jones way to react to something. Outside of doing a bump and cranking the steering wheel into a mother to be of course.” 😂😂

44:36 "A cheater is something that I'll never ever admit to" Interesting choice if words. I know if I genuinely didn't do something and was innocent, like murder. I definitely wouldn't say "I'd never admit to being a murderer". I'd say something like"I'll never BE a murderer" or "I'd never murder anybody". You can only "admit" to something you've actually done and harbor guilt over.

Thank you for this series!

Revisiting all this stuff, I remembered how I used to find it odd that Jones never just embraced the bad guy role.

But the fact that he always tried to present himself as this stand up person, while being horrible outside the cage, and the best mma fighter of all time, makes him a more interesting character.

At long last, the quadrillogy comes full circle, courtesy of the Beige one himself. I must have missed Jones saying Towelgate was one of the "dirtiest things ever seen in sports." Man oh man! Pot, meet kettle. I'm not done with the video yet, but this is shaping up to be one of your very best, Beige Frequency. Really compelling stuff.

That line about DC forgetting the names of half the fighters he announced killed me 💀

I said this in another reply about why JJ never owned the bad guy character — but I’ll put it here too because it came to me after watching probably a dozen JJ breakdown videos:

Jon Jones is almost like a Walter White or Barry type character (or Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov for Crime and Punishment fans) — narcissistic & supremely focused on meeting their goals and fulfilling their ego, to the undeniable detriment of everyone around them, yet still believing in their own ultimate goodness in spite of the harm they continually inflict. They think because they feel bad about what they do that it makes them still redeemable. They have to cling to that belief for the sake of their own ego, otherwise they’ll lose the one thing that allows them to act with impunity. They know deep down that a bad guy doesn’t deserve to win — nevertheless they *need* to win. Therefore they can never accept that they’re the bad guy.

Also let’s face it, it feels good to be the continual underdog even though you’re the best fighter in the game. People root for you in spite of your dominance because they want to see you turn your life around. It’s really a genius maneuver, even if it’s all subconscious on Jon’s part.

28:07 Big John was in prime Yamasaki form here: allowed Cormier to be a warrior utilizing the back of his skull in a brilliant defensive masterclass. Jon’s fist has yet to recover

Cormiers hate really feels like it comes from a "YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!" place

Said it before and it still holds true: Your videos are great, but your art is even better 👍

Cormier being KOed with the head kick and crying afterwards in the cage is still the most heartbreaking moment in UFC hands down. That and Frankie being KOed in his final fight as well.

Even though I knew the story, the way you talked about DC and his age and him not getting closure made me feel the same sadness all over again. I really do not understand how people can still be Jon Jones fans and I hope by some miracle he will stand in front of Ngannou in the octagon and I hope he will get ktfo.

One of Jone strengths in fighting is his lack of empathy. He’s more than happy to gouge an eye or break a knee of a family man in that cage.

Another excellent video. I feel a little older seeing all this Jon Jones stuff after living through it and being a massive mma fan. Looking forward to part 5

I’m really surprised you let him get away with this 47:42 this is the crux of my issue with Jon. He says things like that that actually overtly incriminate him. How many times did he essentially boast he beat DC after a weekend of coke? He said the same thing another Stipe . It’s his defense mechanism as he explained in case he lost. So for him to suggest he’d never jeopardize a fight or his career knowingly taking a banned substance a week out is genuinely borderline comical. For me I can’t get past this moment. It shows not only is he willing to manipulate despite all his other comments being on camera, the logic of the statement he’s attempting to appeal to proves he’s consciously aware of how ridiculous it is while simultaneously providing evidence he’s has zero qualms about bold face lying. This wasn’t THAT far removed from those comments. He was no longer just a kid.
