Who wins? Would you get the Razr+ or Flip 5?

Razer+ is the perfect mix of bringing nostalgia and modern.

With the current $699 deal for a Razr + with Bose Earbuds the RAZR + TAKES IT!

After having the Z flip 3 for a few months and crapping out on me, I went ahead and purchased the Moto Razr Plus. While I was impressed with Samsung's line, it was actually the price tag of course that brought me to this phone. I was hoping to get my hands on a flip 5 after the 6 came out, but the drop in price was not significant enough. So far my experience with this phone has been phenomenal. I can get close to 1 and half days of battery on my Motorola. I feel like I'm getting two phones in one with the outer display. (Saves battery) The nostalgia of the Motorola is fun. The retro razr impresses people. It feels bigger when I open it. The hinge could use less movement, but doesn't feel like it'll break too easily. Pictures seem to be a hit or miss though, but I am impressed with the night mode on this phone. I went to the beach with friends and it was getting quite dark, but I was able to take nice videos of the waves. I think it is a matter of what your needs in a phone are that should be the deciding factor. Each phone brings their own unique style, functions, and abilities. Personally, as someone who grew up in the 90s, I don't need too much tech. The Motorola seems to fit my needs well, and I am pleased with it so far. The other part I noticed is how little I can see or feel the crease. I can hardly tell it is there, and judging by the flip 5, Samsung didn't improve that aspect of the phone. Now after having my year old Motorola, I think I'll be sticking with the moto for a good while anyway, especially if they continue to drop the price as they come out with newer phones.

Samsung has greater support for security and software updates for its devices, not only that but also better waterproof and dustproof protection, as can be seen in the tests.

Oppo's Flip is much better than these 2.

I feel like the razor is the sensible choice, but Id prefer the flip 5.

The Motorala razor is all around the better flip phone.

I really hate sharp edges. Curved edges are so much more comfortable to hold.

If the RAZR was water resistant ip68 I would go with the Motorola but then I rather have the flip 5

Motorola Razr will always be better than any other company that imitates the Razr, do not forget that the Razr is the precursor of folding phones in the world. Samsung was a copy of Motorola and the other companies too, so Motorola Razr is and will continue to be the king of folding phones, the rest are just marketing

Lol, both are worthless and I still can't figure out why people still buy these when they don't possess close to flagship level of battery life or cameras. Perhaps these are the only choices they get over there. I got Oppo N3 flip instead.
1. Better cameras with hasselblad colour calibration. Uses exact triple cameras found in OnePlus 11 phones.
2. Superior battery life (almost as good as S23 ultra)
3. Gapless design and almost invisible crease (Samsung is still trying to catch up)
4. Rounded edges for sure (not those sharp edges that you see on almost all Samsung flagship devices)
5. Very usable vertical cover screen with 17:9 ratio that supports 40+ apps, not just widgets.
6. Physical slider key just like OnePlus.
7. ColorOS that has identical features and optimisation like the OnePlus phones
8. 44W fast charging (which can intelligently slow down when charging overnight)
9. Snappy MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor. Almost on par with Snapdragon Gen 2 performance but Oppo optimised it for efficiency.

The only this thing lacks is ip68 rating though still comes with ipx4, which is fine with wet hands or rain. Not going to risk bringing a phone underwater without waterproof case. 1 metre for 30 minutes of IP68 rating is still not good enough for swimming anyway.
