What is Traumatic Shock?

Trauma refers to the emotional, psychological, or physical stress that results from a distressing experience, often beyond an individual’s ability to cope. Traumatic events can include a wide range of situations, such as accidents, natural disasters, abuse, loss of a loved one, or combat exposure. These experiences can have lasting effects, disrupting one’s emotional well-being, and may require therapeutic intervention to heal and recover.

This is me, and I never had anyone tell me it had a name. It’s always “oh god here he comes with his strangeness “ or “just get over it”
When I was 5 I saw my first mangled dead body, my brother and I had to ride with him because he was the chief of police and had to go and was taking care of us at the time while my mom was at work doing the night shift. I then watched in fear, my parents beat the crap out of each other. I then watched my brother burning in his car after a car wreck he got into right in front of our town house. And I have recently lost my mom to cancer, who NEVER got over my brothers death and was being cheated on by her husband, my crappy stepdad. I wish none of this ever happened because it has tarnished relationships and made me a completely different person. What do I do???

I had my career job, that I loved. It made me the best person I could be. It motivated me to keep in shape, and allowed me to enjoy activities, hobbies.. with the peace of mind .
I made a HUGE mistake.... and I lost my job 😫. It's totally devastated me. I have severe anxiety, insomnia and depression. I lost interests in everything., and cannot do anything. It like being paralyzed. In quicksand of regret and negativity. It's been 9 months. I still can't move, my mental and physical health are declining. It's like my life was turned off. 😢
