Matt Damon can really blend into any role he takes up!! He got the accent and technique down. 😉

I have screwed up my mortar for years and then I found a local place that dispenses a fresh bucket ready to go three minutes from home, 40 liter minimum. Anyway, yesterday I decided to give it a go on my own again after watching this video and dude, it came out really well. 28 kilo stone wall covers and they didn't drop into mush. One after another they tapped into place, the extrusion was perfect for cutting and smoothing and my loss was not more than a medium trowel's worth which I tossed into a small hole in my cobble stone joints. So what did I learn? 1. Buy a wheelbarrow made expressly for cements. 2. When I think its well mixed, mix it the same amount again and in all directions. 3. Add the last of the water really slowly because the difference between mortar and mush is very small. It takes a few minutes for the existing water to be completely absorbed and adding more too quickly is why I never succeeded before now.
