I have a love/hate relationship with Blastoise. On one hand, he looks so fun and can be a huge help in team fights. On the other hand, he's replacing my boi Slowbro as the big strong ranged defender

I believe the first two basic attacks are based on attack and the third “boosted” basic attack is based on special attack. Just something I heard a while back about other special attackers like pikachu and alolan ninetales, so it would probably be the same for blastoise too. Anyways, great vid, keep up the good work!

1:00ish... Bug found: Blastoise's Offense Star Count incorrectly displays as 2 Stars... his Offense Power sure as hell looks like 4 Stars of power to me. :P

Simple Veteran rank player here, but I'm loving the Rapid Spin/ Water Spout build. Running it with Fluffy Tail. So fun to steal the enemies farm and it's great for objectives

Honestly, I would rather Buddy Barrier be made into a general mechanic that all Pokemon have passively, and nerfed down to 15% shields. Just give it to everyone and allow for more held item diversity.

Imagine using hydro pump to push them down, rapid spin to get the cool down, cancel rapid spin so you’re standing, use hydro pump again now they’re literally in your team gettin jumped

I now find myself trying to think about using Blastoise or Snorlax as a defender. Seems like the water turtle could raise all kinds of hell that could shake things up a fair bit.
