Pro-tip: it's a lot easier to get the tolerances on captive nuts right if you use square nuts. The difference between the corner-to-corner distance and the edge-to-edge distance is larger so it's harder for them to turn if the cavity is slightly too large. Still works with hex nuts, but sometimes another option is nice.
