I have a few tips that may help:

1. If you find you get ideas or questions unrelated to school during your classes, I recommend having a memo pad and pen specifically for jotting down random thoughts during the day that you can address after classes. You'll want a separate pad and pen from your notes for two reasons; first, it'll keep you from cluttering your notes with unrelated information you'll have to sort through, and second if you use the same pen and paper for random thoughts as for studying, you risk getting in an unfocused mental mindscape by association.

2. You may find that different things help you focus during different parts of the day. For example, I'm currently working at home, and while upbeat pop songs may help me wake up at the beginning of the day, I cannot listen to them at the end of my shift or I'll get distracted, so I'll switch to calmer folk songs or instrumentals. See what works for you; lots of people will recommend classical music lofi hip hop since they're popular as study music, but you may find it needlessly distracting and do better with some low volume grunge while you study.

3. Having to get up and look for things like a jacket, or a bottle of water, will break your focus and possibly distract your classmates in a classroom setting. Have that stuff nearby; you'd keep a jacket with you if the school buildings were cold, right? And lots of students have a bottle of water during classes. Even having things like extra lead for your pencils or a backup pen on your desk should unobtrusive and save you focus if you end up needing them.

I don't do distance learning anymore, but here are some of my personal tips.

1. *Water* - I tend to get really dehydrated quickly, so I always have my water bottle next to me while I'm working. Taking little sips as you go along helps keep you hydrated and allows to you stay on task at the same time. Also, drinking water is important and I always forgot to drink it for some reason while working online.
2. *Music* - I know that some people prefer not to listen to music while working or studying, but I find that it helps me stay focused. I always just find it easier and more calming to listen to some music. I suggest listening to lo-fi beats, slow piano instrumental playlists, classical music, or your own study playlist! Music with a lot of lyrics and heavy beats can distract you so I prefer to listen to some more calming music instead.
3. *Breaks* - Always remember to take breaks! Your eyes need rest from constantly staring at your screen. I like to read, draw, take a nap, or go on a walk during my breaks instead of playing video games or doing other things on my device.
4. *Organized workspace* - This is super important, for me at least. My workspace needs to be clean, quiet, and comfortable so that I can do my work with a good mindset. I'm a pretty big clean freak and it's hard to focus while studying amidst clutter or around loud noises.
5. *Motivation* - I always feel kind of lonely during distance learning since I'm usually used to being surrounded by my classmates. Study with me videos can make you feel like you are studying with someone, and whenever I get distracted, look up, and see someone studying, it urges me to keep on studying too. You can even reward yourself! After 30 minutes of studying, have a sweet treat. Or after you finish some assignments that need to be finished, do something you enjoy.
6. *Sleep* - Even though you don't have to physically go to school, try to sleep on time and wake up at an appropriate time. For example, if your first class is at 8 am, it wouldn't be good to sleep at 11 pm. You need 10-12 hours of sleep! Don't wake up five minutes before class. Prepare yourself so you're not rushing.
7. *Ask for help* - Don't be shy to reach out to your teachers, unmute your mike during a call, or type out a question in the chatbox (if there is one). I tend to learn/understand concepts and topics better when I struggle, work out different solutions, ask the teacher for help, discuss things with my classmates or friends and all that jazz. Especially in math!
8. *Socialize* - Of course, with distance learning comes the problem of not being able to openly have fun or communicate with your friends. But don't fear, you can still do that! If you normally hang out with friends during lunch or breaks, schedule calls with them or text them to see what's up. Not only will you be more socially fulfilled, but talking to my friends made online/distance learning loads of fun.

Tip: for my fellow fidgeters and ppl who normally fall asleep in class: you're at home!!! Falling asleep? You're not obligated to keep sitting there like in school! Get up! Listen to the lecture while standing, or doing some squats. It's not gonna distract anyone here! (As long as you're not on video that is) Plus now a days in some schools they have fidget friendly/adhd friendly desks for little kiddos in their classrooms. We never had this when I was growing up and I highly doubt I'll ever find it now in post being at home I can fidget and focus to my heart's content lol

My tip is to binge watch a movie / whatever show you love most after completion of your weekly goals like completing your goals this might help to reduce stress or talk to your friends atleast once in a week discuss about lessons and chit chats of your choice this would give you a feel of academic year .
