Ear training - Training yourself to play what you hear using the 'LICC'

In this video you will learn how to start being able to play what you hear using the 'lick'. Just know that you DON'T need a great singing voice but you DO need to SING.
SING (while fingering your instrument)
BE accurate with pitches, don't worry about tempo/time, go as slow as you need to be accurate
PLAY - now that you've ingrained the sound and your fingers, play it!
TRANSPOSE - into ALL keys
EVOLVE - lengthen the line, change the rhythm, etc.

There are many who do that singing/mumbling while they're playing. Gilberto Gil does this all the time and it just adds weight when you listen to his live sessions. He'll sing and play what he's singing on his guitar that just adds that sweetness to his playing.
