I think a cool video would be "building" a kitchen on a $100, $300 and $500 budget? Like what tools will really give you the best chance to cook at home?

12:50 You guys have NO IDEA how much I have missed hearing you say 'Sorted' at the completion of a dish. Honestly should bring that back, it'd be nice to hear it again after several years of not having it.

"Its time for two normals to have a weird idea" should be a series

For future episodes I'd really appreciate looking at ease of cleaning. It's one thing to know it does the cooking it claims, but if its a bitch to clean, it's never getting taken out and used.

I've never seen Mike and Jamie pay THIS much attention to their plating (and get it so right)! What's up with that? Good Job, guys!

Me: “How many desserts can you combine?“
Jamie and Mike: “Yes.”

Speaking of Gadgets, there has to be a Gadgets based Pass It On where everyone is assigned a gadget through lucky draw and they have to add an element to the dish with it.

Edit: Ok I get it they’ve already done it. They should do a new one.

I'd love to see more about getting things out of the basket. I'd love to see how easy it is to clean. It doesn't look like it would hold enough for 4 people.

I actually gasped when Mike nearly separated the egg over the mixture. Well done and good catch!

What I'm always curious about with all these gadgets is how easy they are to clean - or if they make it just more difficult to clean up after cooking. Also, since there's a water tank on top, would it just be possible to use a normal oven with a probe, and a huge oven-proof bowl filled with water?

One of the biggest problems i have seen with these kind of products have always been customization in settings outside of settings recipes, which is very important if you want to try something new. So this looks interesting.

Best way to start my Sunday morning. I stopped watching YouTube all together 3 years ago when my daughter was born and this is the channel that got me back into it. I’ve watched you guys for so long but after 3 years I had ALOT to catch up on. Glad to be all caught up and always waiting for a new video!

Ebbers: "The price doesn't matter..."

Oh it does, very much so. Right now they are being cagey about it too which makes me think it's going to be ludicrous.

Around 5 years ago, you had some Electric Shock Forfeit videos. The one I remember most is one where Mike & Jamie made profiteroles. I propose a format mash-up! Pass It On w/ Electric Shock Guidance. Ben, Jamie, Barry, Mike, and hopefully Kush do a quick competition to decide who goes in what order. First person does not get shocked. When the second person comes on, the first person "guides" them with "helpful" shocks as they try to continue on what the first person started. Second person then takes their turn to be the shocker with person 3, etc, and the last person to go does not get to shock anybody. Woe is them.

Here is the (US) pricing for their upcoming Kickstarter. Honestly thought it'd cost a bit more. Basically a fancy air fryer with some extra features, but still not bad overall.

Launch Day Special: $199 (45% off, May 23)
Super Early Bird: $229 (36% off, May 24 – May 25)
Early Bird: $259 (28% off)
Kickstarter Special: $279 (22% off)
Retail Price After Crowdfunding: $359

I feel like this is a child between a professional oven, an air-fryer and a smart light bulb. Only thing missing is some RGB and the marketing team is happy.
But with so many of these smart things: How will it be maintained in 2, 5, 10 years? Will the app still work? How is the spare parts situation? Are they using industry standard connectors or something proprietary, for the temperature probe for example?

I want to see someone test this against a real oven (or a breville air fryer) with a thermoworks meat-probe thermometer and do a blind taste testing to see if there is a noticeable difference.

Seems like it will be a very expensive air fryer with a temperature probe.

I'm not really seeing any justification for whatever price it is beyond whatever it costs to buy a cheap probe or just get used to cooking based on time using your own oven or air fryer (which is just a small oven)

Ultimately I don't see a reason anyone would really buy one as opposed to an oven they already own, or a counter top stock pot/slow cooker/air fryer type thing.

Especially when those would probably be cheaper...

The thing I think is missing from some of the gadget reviews is how it cleans. Which sounds strange, but the thing holding me back from something like this is quite literally “is it relatively easy to clean”. I know it will save me time while cooking but will cleaning all the nooks and crannies take ages?
