James May is the coolest guy, he's always very polite and know how to throw a smart joke.

Getting rid of him would kill the show, and bring it down to the levels of TG America or Australia, and viewing figures would drastically decline, hurting the BBC because (if I remember rightly) Top Gear is the biggest commercial revenue earner for the BBC along with Doctor Who, which is already starting to go downhill as can be seen by the decline in the viewing figures (I'm pretty sure the series 8 had the lowest ratings out of all the debut series since Tennant, not 100% sure though), so getting rid of Clarkson will essentially hurt the BBC more than him, as, if he is given the axe, itv will probably pick up Clarkson, and I'm fairly certain the other two will go with him. Essentially, BBC needs him more than he needs the BBC.

what i handerstand from all of this, is that Mr. Clarkson wasn't getting any food after a long day of work, so "You're not you when you're hungry". He should do a commercial for Snickers.

BBC please leave James alone when he had nothing to do with it. Also Bring Back Clarkson!

People just dont know how important a decent meal is, I'd of been upset if I'd been working a 15h shif and then a little pencil neck throws down a cold turkey sandwich. Lol

Time of writing, 11.05 am London time, & the "Bring Back Clarkson" petition is still getting over 10, 000 signatures per hour. So it should top 700, 000 in the next few minutes. This is fun to watch.

Fire him. He doesn't deserve employment. Keeping him on is a reflection on the entire BBC. The world is watching.

top gear without jeremy would be boring and not interested like top gear US even if it has james and richard on it, its also the same way if james or richard is gone too because each one of them make the show and make it enjoyable to watch because each one of them put their real life attitude on it. and top gear is one of the most watch show on the planet almost or more than half a billion people watch and love this show if you include those who only watch top gear in the internet because bbc isnt available in their country loosing that audience will be a big disaster

Two grown men throw a punch and the PRIME MINISTER commented on the matter! A man who is the main host and co-producer of the worlds most popular factual tv show is suspended? Is this kindergarten? #BringBackClarkson

There are times in the year when my television gets used as an actual television and not a PC monitor for the visually challenged, those times are seasonal, and weekly. It's sundays 8 PM - GMT BBC 2.

Don't do something financially irresponsible, just because of some 'fake outrage' by a faceless minority, some of the more vocal I dare say, are PR teams trying to poach your cash cow.

Top Gear is a worldwide phenomenon, it does a better job at international diplomacy than the majority of our governnent, and despite their more visible 'faux pas' the three of them speak to the international 'common man' in a way our government never could.

They have 'normal people' personalities/personas with the faults to match.
Sometimes people who work together disagree, he's an old man who had a pissy fit, which I'm sure some crude lawyer could argue extenuating medical circumstances due to something like blood sugar levels, in a practical pensioner.

Please don't fire Jeremy Clarkson. A groveling, shameful, personal, heartfelt groveling apology on air? Yes. Termination? No pls. pls pls.

Guys, we don't know the full story so don't bother taking sides. I feel bad for James May though. Having to put up with paps

This show is the only reason I watch BBC in America. Seems like a poor business decision as i won't be watching BBC for any reason now.

maybe they should sack the producer, probably deserved what he got
anyone who says that they are not, is actually selfish. If you absolutely don't have any feeling or sympathy towards other people you are most likely a psychopath, and before you harm enyone else pls ask for help at your local psychiatry and don't apply for a job at any kind of media
