Phoenix | Mystic Bird of Renewal

Показать описание
The concept of dying but being reborn into a new and more beautiful form is common throughout mythology, but arguably none are more famous for it than the mystical phoenix. The phoenix is said to be a magnificent bird full of purity who, every number of centuries, builds itself a funeral pyre before it catches fire and crumbles into ash. Yet from the ashes arises a new phoenix that fills the world with hope. A beautiful tale...but just where does it come from?

MYTHOLOGY HAS BEEN TOLD AND RETOLD IN MANY FORMS ACROSS TIME, STORIES AND ACCOUNTS MAY VARY.

Stunning! The Phoenix is definitely a glorious symbol of hope & transcendence! I really love the analogy you spoke of between the Phoenix & the Resurrection of Christ! I found that quite intriguing, as well! Absolutely fabulous video, my friend! You did quite famously here, at presenting this wondrous & noble icon of lore & fantasy! Thanks for that!❤️💜🌍

It's one of the most iconic tales known in history, and I really like learning about stuff like that.

Perfect! The Phoenix is my personal favorite bird of mythology! I learned more from this video, than I would have from other sources in general about the Phoenix. Such as I didn't know the earliest record of a Phoenix bird, was from Egypt! Thank you so very much for this video, and for continuing to make videos to educate us!

A magical bird of Egyptian 🇪🇬 legend.... From the ashes, came a newly hatchling chick. A symbol of Immortality

My son Phoenix was born August 13th and died for 20 minutes after placenta ruptured 5 days before due date . They had to do an emergency c section. He came back to life after 20 minutes but died 13 days later. Rest in power my son.

Love the Fahrenheit 451 mention! We read that book in my English class this school year. While watching, I remembered it being used in the book. So it was neat to see the book mentioned!

I absolutely loved this video. The Phoenix is a personal totem of mine. Every time I find myself in a moment of hardship or turmoil, I remember to get back up and persevere.
Heck, my avatar here next to my name is a silver Phoenix 😊
I have studied as much as I could about the myths concerning this fabulous and amazing bird of legend.... and I'm glad you mentioned most of it (not many know about the Bennu bird of Egypt). The only thing you left out was the Chinese story of the Four Gods... The Red Vermillion Bird of the South (or Suzaku in Japan) is very much a Phoenix 😁
Otherwise, excellent video. Top marks! 😀

There is a Belgian beer (Grimbergen) which has a phoenix as a symbol. The reason being that it is (originally) brewn in a monastery which burned down a few times but rose from its ashes each time

This mythical bird is basically very knowledgable to people that even didn't know much about myth thanks to so many media cover it from film like harry potter or game like DOTA 2. Really love this bird abilty to be able to revive and their fire body. This is my first in list of favorite flying creature beside gryphon, garuda, harpy, etc. Thanks for analysis video dude :)

Fire Lord Ozai is no more. Just as the world will be reborn in fire, I shall be reborn as the supreme ruler of the Earth. From this moment on, I shall be known as the Phoenix King!

I've heard it called "St. Michael's Bird", as it supposedly cast the Serpent out of Eden on God's orders, the way the Archangel Michael cast Lucifer from Paradise.
It's partly why the Phoenix is often depicted opposing or battling snakes and dragons.
