Simple answer to this, Wanda channels her power from her connection to an infinity stone but also her innate ability to use magic. Jean has merged with a cosmic entity, while merged, they are one. Wanda is vulnerable because her body is that of an average female, she can cast protection spells, shields, maybe even make herself stronger, but unless she could sever Jeans connection to the Phoenix, she could not win this fight. She simply is not on the level of a primordial celestial being of power, her physical body could not withstand the fight. The Phoenix, through Jean, would decimate all of existence to win if it wanted to, at any cost.

Wanda and Jean are equal because in the comics it’s said the Chaos(magic) and the Order(Phoenix Force) are the same. An equal contrary’s. Also if someone want erase them, they will be very very strong. I think Wanda and Jean are going to make an alliance 😅❤

Answer is “No More Mutants” only Wanda can cast that spell. She can easily de-power any mutant including Jean Grey.

Jean can resurrect herself and other people. Create worlds and universes. Wanda creates fake realities just like her children. In the end they are not true because wanda's warping abilities are limited and not permanent even with the darkhold. Phoenix can create new realities. She held the universe in her one hand at ease. No contest. Phoenix is way beyond limits.

After the latest comic book, I’m sure Wanda will win. She killed Chthon and absorbed the DarkHold, the same Chthon who was poisoning eternity just with his presence, and killed Strange just with his presence.

Scarlet Witch, absorbing the darkhold, gave her tons of spells and knowledge she needs to know. She’s also the new “Goddess of Chaos” and basically an Elder God.

And we know that chaos magic contradicts phoenix force. It can cause damage to phoenix hosts. Wanda def wins.

The Dark Phoenix is the state in which the Phoenix has not fully merged with the host. The host does not have full control over the Phoenix that's why it's poisoning their mind and turning them dark. This is Jeans weaker state. I believe in this state Wanda stands a chance against her but once she merges with the phoenix and becomes the white phoenix game over. She can wipe out every Wanda in every universe with a thought. She is one of the most powerful beings in the entire marvel universe. I love Wanda and she is OP AF but she does not stand a chance against Jean as WPOTC.

In live action, I think they'd be tied. Both of them can regenerate, fly, disintegrate others, use telepathy and telekinesis and are basically immortal now. Wanda can bend reality & Jean can manipulate matter. The Phoenix will always revive Jean and Chaos magic will protect Wanda. There is the fact that Chaos magic can somewhat resist the Pheonix Force though and that the Phoenix Force isn't as potent on Wanda as it is on others, because she wields Chaos magic. Regardless, I still think it'd be a tie.
