DISCOVER THE UNIQUE MENTAL MATRIX OF YOUR PERSONALITY.

Hi, I'm Meghan LeVota — here to help you integrate your mind. I'm interested in cracking the code for how individuals can transform their relationships — with themselves and others — by integrating the psyche. This means illuminating the shadow, healing limiting beliefs, and navigating the collective unconscious.

This integration process becomes more manageable when one understands how their psyche functions. That’s where personality type comes in. By growing your conscious awareness of how your mind works, you gain conscious control over life. In other words, you’re getting your Ego on board with enlightenment, rather than forever feeling internal resistance.

Very spot on. My worst job experiences have been with co-workers that:
- try to tell me how to do something their way (aka micromanage)
- expect me to multitask and to do things last minute (aka go with the flow)
- not give me enough time or NOTICE to do something/get something done.

I noticed my last job and current job have been very extroverted roles. I like extroverted roles because it allows me socialize but socialize with a goal, not to just socialize to just socialize. There has to be meaning and an intent.

"...so they can break the rules later." WOW, yes. I teach writing classes to teens, and one of the things I try to instill into every class is, "Learn the rules, get good at working within the rules. They're there for a reason. Once you're great at working within the rules, then you can find ways to change or exceed them and find your own success."

As an INFJ, I do need this in my work environments. I hate having my flow of work being interrupted by somebody telling me something that isn't really important. I do need validation and feedback from people about how I am doing. I also need to listen to music to help me stay productive. Another thing is I am a slow speaker so I hate getting interrupted and rushed. Also, I'm terrible at multitasking.

INFJs, as you describe them, sound like wonderful employees (as long as they don’t feel resentment towards their employers). My kind of coworker. They seem like a pleasure to manage if I ever get in a position where that is required of me. Hard workers. Devoted. Caring.

Great insights. Thanks for sharing :)

SPOT ON! I am an INFJ and I quit my recent job after 3 months. Here are the reasons why: 1. Tons of details that required a lot of multitasking and focus switching, many manual processes including figuring out constantly changing timelines for over 40 tasks happening simultaneously. 2. Open working space filled with extroverts who wouldn't shut up or come up to me with new requests on top of requests (we were not allowed to use headphones) 3. Antiquated systems and ways of doing things, a lot of redundant and inefficient processes that I had to blindly follow day in and day out like robots allowing for 0 creativity or independent thinking. My improvement suggestions were disregarded. 4. Absolute lack of on-boarding. Manager jumped straight into details of a spreadsheet without painting a big picture or describing the entire process from start to finish and explaining clearly why I will be doing all those disconnected tasks. 5. Micro-managing and pointing out every error that any human would make considering the crazy pace, stress and volume of tasks that place was processing. 6. And this is BIG: toxic environment: my teammates and I were treated unfairly by the manager, never appreciated or complimented on a job well done, lunch breaks interrupted rudely by urgent requests, manager's expectations for everyone on the team to stroke her ego on a regular basis and her inability to provide feedback (unless negative) or any type of support. I stopped caring about the job 1 month into it, my Ni helped me see that this is a dead end job pretty quickly but I gave it benefit of a doubt and pushed through for another 2 months. My Ni was correct. 3 months into the job I quit on the spot to everyone's surprise. An INFJ "door slam"!

I think it would be a dream come true for an INFJ to have an ENFJ boss in most cases, one reason is, they often transform themself into an extrovert at work

I think the dipping the toe in the water rather than just jumping in is a great analogy. The observer may think this lack of immediate action is a sign of a slow learner, but there is a lot going on in the mind of the INFJ.

Infj's can be great leaders, we understand what everyones good at and were organized so were great at delegating. However, we hate being the leader, we're kinda like John Snow in that way lol

Very true it has always been ironic for me that when i start a new function i start out as an underachiever and one day everything changes and i become the best in the office.

I'm an INFJ and my ethics and morals would never let me sabotage a report. I'd be more likely to start taking more breaks, and be less likely to offer my help to anyone. I value my integrity too much to sink a business that's keeping people paid.
Everything else she said in this video is 100% right! Thanks for doing this video!

As an INFJ, I would say you got it most right! I know there will be a variety of different peoples experiences. you mentioned an INFJ might put in an error on their work. In my life I wouldn't put errors in things. That would go against my morals. However if I noticed an issue, I wouldn't fix it. I'll give an example. I do construction. When my bosses piss me off, I don't point out errors that are around me that others don't notice. I see the errors easily because they are not congruent with how things should be. Then I let the chaos ensue for them. However most of the time I like and prefer Harmony.

Yeah exactly.
I will be my own boss from now on. I will work for my own goals. I'm done working for people. I will perform for what is in my best interest and not others.

I am truly impressed on how spot on you are. I'm not talking about just for INFJ, I'm speaking for myself personally.

This is really helpful...I have and INFJ daughter and I love her so much and these type of videos help so much because sadly I didn’t understand her very well when she was growing up and it hurt her because it helps if your mom understands you

As an infj, I really agree with this video. a few weeks back i was told off for being ‘too thorough’ whilst on close, but it wasn’t clearly communicated how i was supposed to do certain things, and i tried to ask questions but no one seemed to give a clear answer so I overthought everything. that situation actually made me a bit resentful. However a few days ago I was affirmed for being more faster and confident in my work so i take back my resentment, for now... 😂

This is so true! That part when you said we can become resentful and be sneaky at work because we know what our bosses are more focussed on. We can use our information about people for both good and for bad.

The problem I most identify with is when I was in the overachiever mode and then the boss now just dumps all the work on me, and now I find myself on a never ending process of one task after the other and the boss is now just happy that I am overstretching myself to get things done and doesn't care that I am burning out in the process of making him or her happy. And WHAM! I drop everything and run out of the door.

This is pretty accurate besides the, "put an error in their work if they don't care" part. INFJs like to do things as perfectly as possible and love when their attention to detail is noticed (though it's usually not which can lead to the resentment.) It would be more likely that an INFJ would let errors made by others slide even though they noticed because then they wouldn't be directly responsible. But if they care at all about their job, they're going to do their best and have very high standards.
