WATCH THIS BEFORE YOU BUY A HARBOR FREIGHT TRAILER!!

This is what I wish I knew before I bought a harbor freight trailer.

Replacement bearings for harbor freight trailers are all over Amazon and Google, I think it was the 30205 bearing kit.

I own 2 of these hf trailers. They serve well within thier limits. You bought the grocery cart and wanted it to perform like a tank. I also have a D-9 dozer but i can break it with f i wanna act all loopy. 😅

Not fair until you hit a stump or rock with the new axle to compare. I've seen really good axles bend after hitting an object. I've carried 2000 pounds on my HB trailer and have used it a lot. I'm still impressed with it's performance. Although haven't tried hitting a rock with the axle yet. I don't think any axle is built to withstand wacking a rock

I just bought an old pwc trailers used this week $100 spent an additional $150 for new bearing kit with races and all. New 2x4 for bunks carpet for bunks new led light kit some hardware and paint and now have a really nice kayak trailer for $250 about half what that hf trailer cost lol.

So you bought the Horrible freight trailer rated for only 1090 lbs.. instead of the much better quality HF trailer rated for 1720 lbs..that was a little more in price..and definitely cheaper then having to buy another axle for it.. you cheaped out and had to pay more in the long run..what a surprise..shocking..lol

Perfect video for what I need. I have a similar fishing old town kayak and wanted to do exactly what you have done THANKS. With your axle upgrade, can this support and larger hub/wheel bearing for a larger tire? I would prefer to get the largest tire possible for the trailer. Good luck fishing...

I sell bearing and pt components. I just bought this and assembled.

The bearings are a 30205 metric cup and cone ( tapered bearing and race ) set.

I just got me HF trailer $389 for the 1200lb capacity. I got it registered and definitely will be looking into better axle
