I’d like to go on record and say that 17.6.1 actually saved my 11 pro max. I was questioning my device’s health since I was draining battery very easily despite having 85% battery health. I finally made the jump from 16.4 to 17.6.1 and holy the difference was night and day. I went from 2 charges per day to lasting enough for a whole 24 hours.

Now that my phone got a life extension, I think I’ll hold and wait till next year’s release where base model iphones will reportedly receive 120hz. I want to go for a one hand phone this time

Since 17.6.1 (the first release) my iPhone 15 Pro Max started to overheat for no reason. It usually happens when watching YouTube or even during the phone call. Sometimes its hot for no reason at all.

Since updating to 17.6.1 whenever I charge my phone and look at "last time charge" it's saying " charging was on hold due to iPhone temperature". Even when I'm not touching it while it charging.

My iphone 13 won’t let me update 17.6.1 . It tells me that it having errors, now i have one app that just wont open for some apparent reason. It’s really irritating

iOS 17.6.1 has been giving me assorts of issues with not finding Bluetooth headphones and other devices. It just can’t find half of my devices on my iPhone 14 anymore no matter how many times you restart, turn off Bluetooth, clear synced devices, etc. Really hope that gets fixed in the next patch. The devices that cannot be found all tend to be Bluetooth 5.0 devices.

I believe it the iOS 17.6.1 software update that caused lot of troublesome. That black screen of death, screen will glitches out, and crashes and reset a lot. I don’t know how long they need to fix iPhone iOS software issue but time will tell.
