I love this Bible!! I love all Bibles!! I’m excited for Revelation and the Interleavened Revelation. Also, Psalms!!
Nicki my very favorite, I’m going to call it scripture engagement was when we went through Psalms. It wasn’t a Bible study, you just read through it. You taught some as well but it was just so engaging and enriching. I think it was before Covid. At any rate it was awesome!! Thank you again for that! Thank you for all you do!! I am doing the 21 days with John. The writer does a great job demonstrating how to use the Abide bible. Very torn about buying the Abide bible, as the font looks very light. Are you using this Bible?

So how like heavy is the Bible? Because I want to get my mom one a Bible I know what version she wants surprisingly it’s not the version I thought but that’s because for the last I don’t know how many months it’s been it’s probably been closer to almost a year she’s been watching a different church online and they read from a totally different version of the Bible she has an NIV women’s devotional Bible and she recently moved and realize that her Bible she had before was on her desk which is against the wall where the window was and the sign would be money and it got like Faded from the sun it was starting to fall apart like some of the pages did she had to tape it which is fine you know your Bible falls apart from reading it and using it that’s a good thing. But the trip she’s been watching almost a year they read new king James and that’s the version she would like. She did get the one year Bible the new king James version which is great but I don’t know what new king James Bible to get her I don’t know if you want just a plain one or a devotional one there isn’t too many women new king James version devotionals out there. And I don’t want it to be a huge heavy Bible a small light weight I saw this Bible you’re talking about but it looks like it might be heavy. I wish it came in other colors green is kind of I don’t know if she’d want a green Bible I mean they do have a cream color looking one it’s like leather looking at don’t think it’s real leather it’s to look like leather but it’s really expensive I don’t want to spend $80 on a Bible like I can spend 30 and get the green one but it’s more like a hardback and I don’t know if you want a green hardback Bible which I can get on Amazon for $30 but the cream color leather looking one that is new king James looks cute and looks more like what she would want but I don’t want to spend $80 I think with tax and everything it came out to be 90 and that’s a little more than I wanna spend like I want to spend $30 or less maybe 35 at Most. But I don’t know if she would like it she doesn’t journal so I don’t know the journal prompts inside the Bible might not be for her because she’s not gonna read that and then get out of journal and start journaling with her Bible she’s not gonna do that for the journaling prompts kind of aren’t her thing but when you described it is kind of like a devotional that’s more her thing

I would pretty much got her the new king James version of the Bible I got my boyfriend but I couldn’t find that Bible in a new King James Version. I’m trying to figure that out anyways so I got a Bible my boyfriend he technically has a Bible his parents gave him I forget how many years ago but it’s too big and bulky to take to church or take anywhere read it and he also has ADD so I don’t know if that plays a part in it if you think the Bible is boring he loves to read the Bible I think we need to work on that one it doesn’t often get red so he likes the ESV version so I found an ESV Bible it was a good size which is funny because each company publisher labels exercising so different. I’ve seen some Bibles that will call a 12 point that’s the size of the letters the words in the Bible that I got my boyfriend it’s a 12 point and they call that large print and then there’s another Bible I saw that has a 12 point and they call that giant print for some people think a 12 point is considered large and something it’s giant print it’s hilarious when you see like Bible that had 11 points or even 12 or 13 it’s funny how some companies will say oh that’s large print and then some say that was giant print it’s really hilarious. Who is really funny there was a couple Bibles I was looking out for my mom and two of them one is 11.51 is 12 point about the Bible they were considered a giant print but the Bible got my boyfriend is a 12 point large print print large print that’s super print I’m like seriously is hilarious. Because what some people consider giant print Timmy is not giant print or super print or whatever. So I wanna get her something but I don’t need a bulky big Bible so I don’t know like I don’t wanna get her something she’s not gonna like but the prompts on the side or cool cause I kind of remind me of a devotional but the journaling prompts or not her thing and she’s got a big O now I have to go on my notepad and journal wiring the Bible that’s not her thing so that part is not her thing and I can’t find any other Bible that is a new king James version that has prompt and stuff in the Bible on the side like that Bible you’re showing in the video I can’t buy other Bible similar. Because I don’t want to spend more than $30 on it and a Bible or something it’s hard to buy for somebody like I’m hoping my boyfriends gonna like his Bible is ESV Bible the one I got I love the size of the print is a 12 point which is so sad most Bibles there like six point all the way up till like 9.5 points and those are just really small in my opinion I mean I like the Bibles words like 10 point or even 12 point is great. So I don’t wanna get anything crappy and also when I get a Bible that has all the books in the Bible I just learned recently from my pastor that not all Bibles are equal there are some Bibles that are missing chapters and pages in the book so I have to find the right one so I don’t know what to get her this kind of sounds like something close enough to a devotional but at the same time it being a hardback and it’s green I don’t know and the journaling prompts just don’t seem like her she doesn’t journal so I don’t even know if she would like it and if you know another Bible that’s similar to this one that would be great I just don’t want a heavy big Bible but I do want to get her one at least I know she wants new king James know if she wants a devotional that’s kind of hard to do finding a new King James devotional it’s really hard to find on Amazon I didn’t realize there wasn’t that many to begin with of those that weren’t expensive

Her Bible before was an NIV women’s devotional it was paper back so it wasn’t her back it wasn’t even real leather or the fake leather Bibles she had paper back pretty much and she’s pretty much the same one I think she had went for a long time then it like something happened in to get a new one so she got the new updated version of the last one and I think it was a little bit smaller it was like pinkish purple color looking one it was Paper back so she’s never had a hardback or even a leather like Bible or most people today either have real leather or the fake leather Bibles most people have her Bible was neither one of those. So I don’t know what kind of Bible she’s gonna want that something else to think about I didn’t ask her that all I know is new king James version and so 30s the most I wanna spend and this Bible seems like you just gave it more like a devotional which is what I want to get her but there isn’t too many options for a new king James version women’s devotional but they don’t really have any of those I think I found one maybe two on Amazon I prefer to use Amazon just because you know there’s a chance I can get it here before December 24 like I said I didn’t know until Sunday that she kind of wants a new Bible she didn’t say as a Christmas present. But definitely new king James part of me for maybe five or 10 minutes that thought came into my mind of maybe getting her new Bible for Christmas as one of her Christmas presents about five or 10 minutes of thinking about that kind of went away because I’m glad I didn’t act on that thought because I would have gotten her an NIV Bible which is not what she wants. Because the church service she watches online they read new king James and so there’s that there were the couple women’s devotional Bible I actually liked I thought maybe she would but they weren’t new king James like they’re actually is king James women devotionals that as many as like an IV another one but there’s more it’s not a big selection it’s still small but there’s more options for king James version if you want new king James I so far only found two. So great but I hear it’s kind of heavy and the cheapest one I can but they have a Bible your showing for new king James it’s the hardback and I don’t know if she’s gonna want a hardback Bible and it’s also agree you know if it was an any other color black brown cream that might be a different story and I like that it has little props and things on the side but the journal prompt is not her thing she does not journal that her Bible get a notepad and takes knows why she’s not even her. I want to get her a new Bible to hope she’ll read it because she recently moved and I have yet as far as I know she has yet to get out her Bible and read it she just hasn’t done that as much as she should she needs to get back into God I mean yeah she watched church online every Sunday you know but she’s just I don’t even know how to explain it I want to get that back into her I get her back into that but I don’t wanna buy the wrong Bible. So I don’t know what you want because like I said she’s always had one there’s an IV women devotional Bible and she had the regular standard size one paper bags like pink or purple one of those colored ones and then I forget what happened and then she got another Bible that the NAV women’s devotional I think it’s pink it’s a smaller version of the one she used to have that she lost and that’s what she had she was using that until she moved and she had to tape some of the pages in the Bible and I’m like there’s nothing wrong with your Bible falling apart that’s a good thing means you read it and used it really well but she doesn’t like that. But like I said I know the version I just don’t know like what type of Bible to get her does she still want a devotional does she just want Bible does she just want a regular Bible you know that is good size print and has the words of Jesus talking in red print I mean like what does she want I don’t know. And I can’t really ask that question because then she’s gonna know I want to get her at the last minute Christmas present and then she’s gonna be like oh no I’m good or she’s gonna be like I don’t know what I want no blah blah blah so her not knowing that that’s what I wanna do is great I just don’t know what to get her I don’t know necessarily the hardback one she would like although I don’t know if it’s really big and heavy
