When we learn how to quiet our noisy minds, teaches Eckhart Tolle, we take the first step toward Presence—not as a mental concept, but as a direct, firsthand realization that is always available in the here and now. In this video, join Eckhart for his guidance in the practice of simply sitting quietly, taking in your surroundings without the need for the mind to step in and comment on your experience and whatever you're perceiving through your physical senses.

Tune in as Eckhart discusses:

▪️Becoming more aware of the space around you, or the totality in which the "forms of this world"—including not just physical objects but your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions—arise and eventually dissolve
▪️How outer space corresponds with inner space
▪️Your true nature as the light of consciousness, and more

I'm sitting in a coffee ☕ shop listening to this and I can momentary feel the presence of the room words fail. May everyone be blessed with this realisation we are more than meets the eye 👁‍🗨

When the potential of all is known as One and therefore unlimited, objects lose meaning and you relate to your feeling-state. This feels like an experience of infinity.❤

I’ve been thinking how beneficial it would be for certain “leaders” in world politics to sit with Eckhart for lessons or simply silence. Every day 💞 💫 ⭐️ It’s funny to think how dear Eckhart would treat him as he treats every single spirit. Eckhart would bring this certain President the shift he needs. I’m putting it out in the universe… 🧘‍♂️

Got it ! The space of the room which is the "presence" of the room is the exact reflection/image of one's inner world with "void" space filled with sensory objects.
This "void" space plus the objects within is what is defined as "oneself" . By extrapolating this PERCEPTION, one becomes ONE with the source of all things (and no things) . Hallelujah !

When we are younger we look forward to the day we have paid off the mortgage, then when we have we look back and think about all the things we used to be able to do when we were younger that we are no longer capable of doing as well now we've reached the age where we have finally paid off that mortgage . This is so wise from Eckhart and reminds me of the phrase " youth is wasted on the young, before we know it's been and gone" 🙏🙏🙏🙏

What is being perceived results from an "A Priori" adaptation of how consciousness procures a lucid embodiment of a "Whole." The "essence" of thought must translate as an extensive bi - conditional component of elasticity. It begs the question: "Does what we think correlate to what is being perceived?" Let's take the statement: "I believe snow is white but I don't think snow is white." In such a case thought is "moot" because perception is a verifiable method of deduction. Excellent Video Professor Eckhart!

I wish I could say this is easy, but it is not easy. This is difficult. I think perhaps the more stress one is under in life, the more difficult it is to do this, to quiet mind and to just be the "conscious presence."

Tolle talks about "spaciousness" a great deal. It is central to everything, but it is not easy to "grasp" for want of a better word.

Speaking of "emanation" from the source of all life, does this recall to anyone else's mind Plato and/or Neo Platonism?
