Safety concerns after people filmed using Apple Vision Pro headset

A number of people have been spotted using Apple's VR headset in public including while driving.

Some appear to have been using the gadget as a stunt. Others may just have been just learning how to use the headset while out and about.

The new technology has prompted safety concerns, with the US transportation secretary reminding drivers they must pay attention at all times. The reminder was issued after one Vision Pro owner was filmed using the headset as he drove a car with assisted driving features.

To be honest, this tech has a lot of potential... but I can see the concerns of WHEN you use the device. Finding the appropriate time to use the Vision Pro (e.g. at home) is definitely going to be crucial.

The only safety issue is someone pulling it off their head and running away, it's a $3500 device that gives a thief the illusion that the person cannot see you because they are wearing it (they can)

This sort of tech, whilst it may bring many cool things to us, especially in the video game arena, will no doubt be to human social interaction and psyche, what social media has been for all these years, in other words, degrading, disconnecting, inhumane, and an absolute disaster for our species.
