Obito already knew Madara was using him, he knew about the cursed sealed tag Madara puts in his heart when he saved him. He just didn’t know farther beyond to the point where Madara planned Rin’s death

Not when Obito saw Madara in the war but when Kabuto showed him Madara's corpse. I think

Obito even said "Damn that kabuto, " when Naruto says that he and Bee will destroy 'both' Madaras. He was upset that kabuto reanimated Madara.

Madara used obito and was telling him that he was gonna have to pay back the whole time when he was training him

Yeah Madra Said to Obito when he told him the truth about Rin's death that "Playing with people is what I taught you Obito, isn't that right".

It's funny how the most manipulated of all were Madara. He had no idea his plan was Black Zetsu's all along. Obito and specially Nagato had their own agenda.

He did plan to revive Madara for a brief time, his plans changed when Nagato betrayed him

When Obito met Konan he tells her that Rinne Rebirth was supposed to be used for someone else, then Obito got Nagato’s eyes, his plans to revive Madara went out the window

Obito clearly didn’t care about anybody when the war started..all he wanted was to destroy the whole world, and i think he saw Madara as a threat rather than an ally in his plan!

Y'all gotta remember that Nagato was weakened a lot by using out Tendo Pain. The fact he didn't have much chakra killed him when he used it. Rinne Tensei isn't life-for-life kinda jutsu like Chiyo's technique which she used to save Gaara. Obito infact could resurrect Madara during the war without much problem. He'd just be exhausted.

Obito found out about the seal on his heart from Madara so yes he switched up the plans but not sure how and when he found out

It didn’t end in failure, he just changed his mind. Naruto showed him a better way.

You can also tell that he wasn't planning it when naruto mentioned other madara to Bee

In the Naruto universe instead of creepy old people who do horrible things to kids they find a young Uchiha and use them for their evil plans. Orochimaru wanted Sasuke and Itachi and Madara wanted Obito and Sasuke. Obito was chosen by Madara though. Even Gurguru the spiral Zetsu said that Madara picked him. Obito was like Naruto except Madara knew he wasn’t just a slouch random Shinobi. He knew that if he tapped into Obito’s anger he would be incredibly powerful. Obito’s Mangekyou Sharingan is no doubt the most powerful Mangekyou Sharingan in the series and it even rivals the Rinnegan. Not just Kamui but the Genjutsu Obito used were some of the best Genjutsu feats in the show. He had Minato questioning if Obito was Madara only a year after he thought Obito died. He went toe to toe with the 4th when he was 14. He lost but if Minato fought orange mask Obito he would get his ass beat. The years of honing Kamui and his other abilities would be different. Even Kakashi said “he’s teleporting without weaving signs or marking the spots he appears, this is a Jutsu even beyond the 4th Hokage’s” not exactly word for word but something like that and he did say that just worded differently. If Obito never gave Kakashi his eye he would have been unstoppable. Kamui would be twice as fast and the time limit for intangibility would be doubled. Obito also had far greater control over the Mangekyou Sharingan than Kakashi ever could because he wasn’t an Uchiha. Obito would also be able to attack while being intangible. Basically he would be able to pop people’s heads off with a glance and also be untouchable while doing it. His Susanoo was also the strongest we’ve ever seen people say it’s Kakashi’s Susanoo but he needed Obito’s eyes, chakra and soul to use it. Obito was basically possessing Kakashi’s body to give him his power. Once Obito went to the pure world and his soul left Kakashi lost both eyes because they went with Obito. I like the detail in Naruto Ninja Storm 4 in the battle with Kaguya when Kakashi uses Obito’s eyes and gets the Susanoo Kaguya gets angry saying that’s her power to Kakashi and how dare he uses it. I think in Boruto when we learn about Shinjutsu and Shibai Otsutsuki that some Jutsu are God techniques like Code and his claw marks. He’s basically using Kamui but no intangibility and he has no mark the spot he teleports through and that is a Justsu of the Gods. Kamui literally means Authority Of The Gods I believe it is a Shinjutsu. It’s probably the most powerful Jutsu besides Edo Tensei.

madara's plan was to stay and have fun while being a menace

Had Obito not tested Naruto's will and heart, going straight for the kill instead, he would've accomplished the Eye of the Moon Plan the way he wanted to, even after Madara was resurrected and had backup plans ready.

Obito read the Uchiha stone around 9 tails rampage and massacre, saw Zetsu's manipulations so by Akatsuki thought would rule instead?
