Imagine a conversation between Nagato, Obito, and Itachi after their deaths. They all died on their own terms, with their issues resolved and no evil deeds forced upon them.

Nagato died with the hope that Naruto had given him. Obito also died with the hope instilled in him by Naruto. Itachi died knowing Sasuke was safe and strong enough to protect himself.

Nagato and Itachi were quite relaxed with each other when they were reanimated together. Neither of them cared anymore about maintaining their Akatsuki personas.

I would love to see the villains, who were "saved", all come together and talk about themselves and what changed.

Obito, to his core, is not a heartless person like he says he is. He is a man that is broken, he is a man that the world just had it out for him. Obito never wanted to make people suffer, on the contrary, he wanted other people to live in a world without pain and suffering.

I think deep, deep down that same boy that always helped the elderly is there, but he's screaming and in mental anguish. He doesn't want to suffer anymore and he even doesn't want Kakashi to suffer. He just wants pain and suffering to end.
