It seems like the supposedly very intelligent people at NASA would realize that a highly advanced alien race probably wouldn't use a primitive technology like radio waves to communicate with. Just because we use it, doesn't mean somebody else would, too. It seems to me to be a very short sighted, closed minded way of thinking. Just my two cents that nobody asked for.

What if...these FRBs are, in fact, of intelligent intergalactic origin and used as a form of communication/data transmission developed by a civilization(s) to facilitate intergalactic travel...or even as a means of supplying energy to craft in travel.

Not to worry. The sources for these undecipherable "messages" are so far away from Earth that it would take unfathomable centuries for any life forms to get to here from there if they had plans to conquer our nasty little planet - which I doubt that they could actually be aware of. These radio bursts are naturally occurring phenomena that have no relation to sentient beings. How do I know? I don't, but that is a fact as believable as the narrator's story. The pretty pictures a nice though.

Ho-hum...once again, these FRBs are anywhere from three to four billion light years from Earth. That means it only took about three or four billion years to travel here. To insinuate that alien civilizations are trying to contact humans is silly. We weren't around when those FRBs were created.
