In this Duolingo English Test practice video, you can practice taking a full test. I created the test to be very similar to the real test in terms of the number of times you get a question type and the amount of time you have to complete each question. On top of that, I show you the answers after each question. This can help you see how well you are doing.

Note- This sample test does not include the interview questions and the questions I made are not from the real Duolingo English Test.

The Duolingo English Test is the newest English proficiency test available for English students to take in order to get an official English score. You usually need to take a test like the Duolingo English Test before you apply to a university or college in an English-speaking country.

This new Duolingo English Test is made specifically for those who need to get an official English score to study at a university or college. It’s similar to the IELTS and TOEFL; however, even though this test is quite new, it is accepted by a lot of universities around the world. You can go to their website to find out whether the university you want to attend accepts the Duolingo English Test or not.

Although my first test was uncertified since I looked away from the screen while speaking, I retook it and my test scores came in today. I tried taking a sudden duolingo test 2 days ago. At that time I just learned things about duolingo in less than 24 hours. The only preparation I did was tried the exercise 2 times and watched this video once before doing the test. It was so chaotic but I managed to score 120 when the minimum (for the program I'm aiming for) is 100. Thanks for making the video!

Thank you for a wonderful prep exercise. However, I noticed that in 37:05 the emptied word after the word California has 2 gaps with it "t _ _". I just filled it with "till", but in the answer paper it is "to" which is two letters.
