NEW Questions on the Duolingo English Test 2024: Everything you need to know

The Duolingo English Test has introduced three new question types to the test! These updates will be effective from 2nd April, 2024 onwards. This video covers everything you need to know about these new questions.

NOTE: If you want to take the Duolingo English Test without these changes, take the certified test before April 2, 2024.

The Duolingo English Test offers a convenient way for students to prove their English language skills, especially when applying to universities in English-speaking countries. Even tho the DET appears to be easy, understanding how the test works and getting some tips and tricks makes it easier and gives you more confidence I belive this why this chanel is great. It was my resource to prepare in less than a week and got 130

Hi teacher Luke. I just wanted to let you know that I used your DetReady practice database for about three days, and it really helped me understand how the Duolingo exam works. I was scared my test would not be certified (I have a gaming laptop, so many programs run automatically), but I got it approved. My overall score was good (150) even though my production score was on the lower end (130). I still have one remaining try so hopefully I can improve the overall score to 155.
