The reason why the eggs frozen result in tiny fraction of livebirths is the lack of knowledge of the women and postponing to freeze their eggs and the costs in the western world. With the technology that we have right now, the question of having a biologic child after 40s is either you freeze your eggs or after multiple failed cycles egg donation. The technique of cryopreservation of eggs has changed and now we use vitrification. Near 100 % chance of recovery of the frozen eggs
