I freeze veggies like tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and jalapeños! These veggies can go in stews, stir fry etc! Best to buy them in season and use for the winter months

OMG, Caleb! This is brilliant. Thank you so much for Posting this. Now, my spinach that would’ve gone in the compost pile will nourish me.

Yes, brilliant! I’ve been freezing spinach for smoothies and love using the whole box rather than losing it. I spread mine on a cookie sheet and can do all greens this way, dandelions, chard, even kale, but love idea of freezing right in the box. You are brilliant Kaleb! Thanks!

Egg on toast with a sprinkle of spinach & my favorite way to bring out the sweetness of fresh spinach...raspberries! Especially a soft set egg so there's that sunny yolk, bright green leaves, & pop of pink from the berries..so freaking good. It's a ten if you add bacon crumbles🤤

I do the same with red peppers (or multi colored) when they start to get soft. I just chop them, no blanching, and freeze. Also, when my storage is limited to fresh onions, I’ll take the excess, dice, chop or slice them into ziplocks and freeze! Really convenient when you need to cook in a hurry for that morning omelet, or soup & stew!

My absolute favorite way to use frozen spinach is in a ricotta, mozza, parmesan mixture for Italian dishes. Lasagna, Ziti, etc. The spinach adds another layer of healthy flavor.

I will try this. Sometimes when I make my kids ramen, I like to add a few things like a can of chicken and some mixed vegetables. I also like to take a wad of frozen spinach and toss it in. it adds color and a little nutrition. I call it Enhanced Ramen and my kids love it.

If you wash/ soak (10 min) your spinach leaves in vinegar water and spin dry need very dry they will stay fresh longer in the frig. Up to two weeks.

Good idea, I always end up eating a lot of spinach salads to use it up,
Didn’t think I could freeze without processing it somehow first
