How to fix a door that is hinge binding

Took the whole door off, binding on both directions, Year's of dealing with a door that never closed after a remodel, shaved and stupidly countered the hinge, made up some shims from a vinyl cutting board sheet using one hinge as a template a hole punch to make the screw holes, all to make up for my faulty logic and fixed the problem ... mostly. Now it closes easily with a push but has that last bit of travel binding (used a piece of paper between the jamb to prove that was the last part of the problem ... was) So now here I am watching this very useful vid again to make sure I know what I'm doing now. Thanks

Great help to fix my problem. I used toothpicks to fill the holes and a wedge at the bottom to keep it level. This has bothered me since I changed the hinges so thanks for the tip.

so you're not making new holes? You're just applying pressure to the door while reusing the existing holes? How does that do anything..?

Good video, quick and easy fix, the only downside is that the sound quality was poor. But thanks for the information, it definitely helped me sort a door problem.

Great tip but does the door have 4 hinges and you only adjusted 2?
Wouldn't that cause another problem?
