I studied japanese for 3 months in college. And then I stopped and kinda forgot some of it. You gave me the motivation to pick up the language again. Keep up the great work!

I just started my journey today. From German to turkish english and french, now to Japanese. Your progress is amazing. My question is, how long did it take for you to ~kind of feel fluent~ in readiong the kanas? I mean remembering them isn't that hard but being able to read them like Latin letters may take some time i guess..

keep up the work!

Oh man! You're awesome.
I am not saying this just because you speak Japanese well, but also because that you're learning the two languages I am planning to learn -JP, German.

Do you have any tips for learning the both of them during 2018?

Your Japanese seems very good. I want to learn Japanese (and Russian) but both seem very hard. I've been studying spanish for about a year and still can't seem to get a hang of it. Maybe I just need to put a little more effort in :)

lol this video is so funny. I started watching anime this year, and I really like it a lot, now I want to learn japanese too. I already started practicing with the Pimsleur japanese, and some apps hehe, and actually this semester I will go to japanese classes in my university. If you have any advice you could give me I would be really thankful. Greetings from Venezuela ;)

What exactly are you doing for your speaking practice and how often do you do it? Your japanese is pretty damn good for 1.5 years!!

I understood so much what you were talking about! Even though I have only learned for some months, really motivated me! I learn from Genki and Youtube videos, but it seems like Japanesepod101 helped you a lot. Do you recommend it? For grammar for example and vocabulary! Nice video btw, love your content :D

If you say 'uh' or 'um' a lot (and you do), you should get into the habit of saying 'ano' or 'eto' instead. They're the Japanese equivalents and will make you sound more native. It also just sounds more fluid than 'um' and 'uh'.

Hey I have been studying Japanese for around 6 months now and have made almost no progress. I have been jumping around using different study methods and apps to help me but almost none of them seem to work well for me and then I just get unmotivated and give up for a while. Help what do you suggest? Right now I just know a few random words/kanji help!
