You are and have been my go to YouTube along with Kevin's Speed Shop for my 2019 Yamaha Gas golf cart
Hello over two hours of trying just about everything I stopped and let it sit for a day
brake shoes on my Yamaha 2019 drive 2 watched as many YouTubes as I could fine to insure i knew what i was doing one side went to the other side and installed shoes....The drum would not go on the After much deliberation, a full day. I came to realize that the shoes are different in size by a very small amount....So, I installed the shoes with a small and large on each side and it installed the smaller of the shoes on the adjustment side (just guessing)
If you are able it would help maybe others if you actually replaced these shoes on a cart.... I added a bit of grease to the threads of the adjuster and a bit of grease to all contact points of the shoes themselves (ie....top and bottom attachment points and the three stick outs along the travel of the shoe on the hub
Also....these shoes at a local dealer were $50/pair....I got mine from 10lol for $24/4 shoes....this price range is ridiculous

Could you make a video showing how to adjust the accelerator peddle....My cart the peddle travels almost to the floor before engaging and the cart jumps when it starts. You are the go to YouTube for these Yamaha gas

My peddle has a lot of throw. Adjusted cable under floor with no results. I just bought this cart. Do you think I need shoes? Its a 2011. Great video and a big thumbs up!

Great video! I oicked up a used fleet cart. When applying the brakes you cab feel pulsating and a "lumpy" type of stop vs smooth(if that makes sense. Im assuming the drum(s) are out of round and need replacing?

Do these brakes self adjust like old schools car drum brakes in reverse? Or is it manual adjustment only?

What does the locking tab do on the brake adjustment? Does it matter if it isn't locked in against the brake adjustment? I have adjusted mine and when I press the brake pedal, it loses tension. I go back to check one of the rear brakes and the locking tab on the brake adjustment has come off the brake adjustment. Hope you can help. Cheers

MY Drive 1 has the disc brake pack in the trans. Do you have a video on servicing that brake?

I’m having to press harder on my brake/lock pedal when stopping/ locking the cart in place on an incline. I have a 2019 Drive 2. Can I just lubricate the pedal springs or what other easy modifications do you recommend. Thanks

My passenger side brake grabs/locks. I've adjusted it so it's not so snug and that's eliminated the problem. My question is, can I keep it from self adjusting too tight again?
