My prius is 17 years old with 211, 000. On 3rd set of brakes. Big battery is fine. Still gets 48 mpg. Front wheel barings swapped out. Thats it.

Iv Ubered in many Priuses with over 250, 000 miles.
One had a smidge over 300, 000.
All on the original battery and engine.
The 300, 000 mile one had about 75% efficiency.

2006 120k Only issue is the dash lights have gone out x2, but here's the work around: press the start button for 3 sec w/o pressing brake pedal, release, then two quick presses. Boom, handled. Or find a good mechanic to remove the dashboard, take out the xxxx(name?) meter, and solder in new capacitors.

Have an 08 bought it with 68K it now has 234K. Put on brakes at 210K two sets of tires, two headlight bulbs changed spark plugs 3 times and front wheel bearings! That’s all I’ve done. Still looks and rides great!!!

I love my Hyundai Ioniq hybrid but I'm totally eying up the new Prius.

That generation (2011-2015) is notorious for blowing head gaskets and other engine issues. They fixed it with 2016+. One YouTuber even transplanted a gen 4 engine into his gen 3 just to stop getting the issues.

I have a 2004 with 260k. OG battery lasted until 220k. Original brakes lasted until 230k. Can not speak highly enough of Priuses.

My sister has a 2011 with 258k miles. Everything original other than typical maintenance. She still drives it probably 1, 500 miles a month. No issues.

I ran into a cab driver I know who was waiting for a client.
The company he and his partner work for was bought out.
He was sitting in their 2015 Prius that has over 730, 000 kilometres (445, 300 miles) on it.
The new owner of the taxi company is giving them $3000 for it. He'll have about 50 of them and he uses them for parts.

21 year old Jeep Wrangler here. 180k miles. All that has been done to it is new break pads, a new radiator and water pump and had replace a drive shaft. All in all its only had like 3-4 grand of repairs in its lifetime. Not too bad.

My wife has a 2014 Prius V that has 149000 miles. Hers had the rear brakes replaced and a couple of window switches, thats it! An amazing vehicle by any measure.

I put 150000 on one in two years. Tires, oil change and headlight bulbs. Never replaced the front brakes!
