Xbox App on Windows 10 Preview

Can't wait to upgrade to Windows 10. I wasn't all that hyped until I found out about the Xbox one app for windows 10. Now I can't wait to get my hands on it, as it seems like just something that would improve the way I use my devices. Awesome work!

So does this mean Xbox 360 and Xbox One can be in a Party together and talk? Or is the 360 being left behind in all this?

(P.S. Don't tell me I should upgrade to Xbox One and all that; I have an X1. I'm just wondering if I can talk to my friends on Xbox One whenever I feel like playing on the 360, and if I can talk to my 360 friends when playing on the One.)

I wonder if we can now play the PC version of games we already own on Xbox without having to buy them again. Would love to be able to play with my PC buddies without buying a second copy and even better; would love to earn achievements and save progress that I can take back to my main game.

Back in windows 8 when you would exit apps they would continue running as background processes. I hope they fix that for windows 10.

I don't get why the activity feed is front n center on the Xbox app, but on my console I have to dig through my the friends app to find it.

So what does this mean anyone with a Windows 10 device can get rid of their Xbox One or is it like Nvidia Shield or Remote play where you need the actual console to stream to the Windows 10 computer?

Finally I can chat with my friends who don't have a xbox one, and I don't have to pull my phone out of my pocket to read xbox messages!  :D

Will I be able to uninstall the xbone app? if so, I will upgrade to w10.
