My favorite part of j vs Ben is when they have different answers so Ben just assumes his is wrong, but then it turns out that j is actually wrong. The pure joy on bens face after that I love it! I feel this exact same way with my husband cause he always knows more trivia than me and is usually right so when I think it's different I'm convinced I'm wrong. Nice feeling when it's the other way

If curious minds want to know, Lilac is a lighter purple with pink undertones & Lavender is a deeper purple with violet undertones. My aunt was a florist for 20 years & she made sure to engrave that random fact into my brain for some reason.

It actually sort of makes sense for The Burrow to only have five floors, because even though there’s seven members of the Weasley family, two of those are Arthur and Molly who would share a floor (most likely the ground floor, as that’s where a lot of master bedrooms seem to be) and another two are Fred and George who would also share a floor.

The thing about them feeding grass snakes to the skrewts is weird, because Harry would be able to talk to the snakes....I can sort of imagine Harry being like "Do you want to be fed to a skrewt?" and the snake being like "no", and Harry just letting it slither off to the Forbidden Forest.

For future reference to everyone, Benjy Fenwick never appeared in the main story in person. Moody mentioned him when he showed Harry the photo of the first Order of the Phoenix. Benjy was a member who got cornered by Death Eaters and, as Moody put it, the Order "only found bits of him".

Benjy Fenwick was the kid in the 70's who got hit by the Whomping Willow and went blind in one eye because some of the younger students were playing a game where they were trying to get as close to the trunk as possible without getting hit and he got hit

I watch a lot of British TV shows (Taskmaster, Would I Lie to You, etc), and they would frequently mention hundreds and thousands. I always thought they were talking about a chocolate bar.
