AIADMK announces exit from NDA on Sep 26, 2023. The Dravidian party will form a new alliance for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. AIADMK broke this alliance due to the aggressive politics of BJP's Tamil Nadu chief, K Annamalai.

Whether AIADMK quit its alliance with BJP or not, I lost my trust in AIADMK the moment it decided to form an alliance with BJP, same applies to many Tamilians. AIDmK is already split in to planner Selvam, palaniswami and Shashikala factions . The AIDmK is no more viable party to challenge DMK- congress alliance . It can not join dmk as there will back lash of Jaya Lalitha fans . It is possible to get other two groups to join bjp thus making bjp lead front headed by Annamalai most viable outfit to take on DMK- congress lead antinational/ anti hindu front .
