Growing up agnostic, I have kind of searched over the years for a spiritual connection, never really finding it. Until this last full blue moon when a series of unexpected events happened and she called to me when I was trying to help one of my closest friends heal and give her protection. One of the most beautiful experiences in my life. Needless to say I fell into a bit of a rabbit hole after that and things about me started making sense. I feel more connected to myself than ever and I have Brigid to thank for showing me my path and what a spiritual "home" feels like.

I have been worshipping Brigid as the goddess of fire and queen of the Salamander elementals pretty much exclusively for a few months now. I'm shocked that smithing is the only thing fire attributed craft you mentioned untill almost the end.
She has helped me banish so much unwanted earth energy simply by keeping her fire burning. However (and this is why it shocked me you said she was connected with water) the insane amount Salamanders I've brought around to banish the excess Gnomes I brought on early in my paganism, had caused my plumbing to have a fatal error I cannot possibly fix (must be completely working with Lough help balance this out or should I seek out a dedicated water god/dess since Brigid has revealed herself to me as my goddess of Fire and guardian of the South Point of my Magick Circle.

Blessed be! Brigid just came to me this week. I’ve recognized her cross throughout my life. Then my friend helped me make my own this week and I cast it in metal. Then I havent been able to stop thinking of her and came across your sweet video.
I am curious- are you calling her Brig or Brid in this video? How is it spelt? Where does the shortened name for her come from?

Since working with Brigid the last 3 days, a bird made its way into my home. Im not sure how, my screens are all closed . It just appeared behind the curtain when I went to open the curtains. Rather strange but magical...

And also by the way you spoke of her, she sounds like she could be my Main or only Deity of worship. How do you get her to lend you her water attributes while also worshipping her as a Fire Goddess? And you said she was Celtic but I researched prior to this and saw she was Gaelic... Was she both?

Are the Gaelic and Celtic pantheons basically the same and as cross compatible like the Roman and Greek onee?

Shes currently teaching me how to make charcoal and store heat energy. I love her and have made offerings of my own blood to her knowing the weight of the gesture I was making. If I were to worship her as high Goddess instead of Terra (switching from Roman pantheon) who would replace here in the south (fire) section of my circle?

And wouldn't it make me not a nature/earth worshipper any more? I learned most of my Magickal knowledge from Oberon Ravenheart if that helps, I need to read into more systems but his book was so readable unlike so many others I've gotten.
