This Imbolc will be my first celebration as a Pagan. I have much to learn, so thank you for this video.

Brigid not only has aspects as a Celtic goddess an a Catholic saint, but also as a Voodoo loa, Maman Bridgette. Like her Celtic version, she is the protector of women and a healer. She also is the guardian of cemeteries and the escort of the dead. One of her symbols, hot peppers, is probably is a nod to Brigid's fire symbolism.

Brigid acted as a mother figure for me when I began my practice. She helped me working through the Christian guilt I had for so long reminding me of my strength and perseverance. So even though I no longer work with Brigid, I honor her every year on Imbolc and give thanks for her guidance during an important time!

Thanks for your lovely video, as a Celt myself, and a Christian, she holds permanent respect from me.
I have always associated Brigit with the loveliness and tenderness of Nature, and its many undiscovered secrets.

Brigit has been important I my life for many years, and have recently learned that she is also associated with the Sumerian Queen of Heaven and Earth, the Goddess Inanna. Inanna has many direct associations with Brigit i.e. smithing, poetry, fertility, justice, the willow tree, beer and dairy (to mention but a few).

That what I have always loved about the Wheel of the Year -- we are never more than a few weeks away from the next celebration!

Amazing video. Brigid is the deity I work with for passion, creativity, writing, and she also inspired me to start making candles. I got the idea right before last Imbolc after I left a draining job-- before I found out about her. I connected the dots a few weeks later. I think she's always been with me in all my creative and healing endeavors, I just didn't realize it before. Anyway, I would looove to see you do videos on The Morrigan (my Patroness) and Nemetona (my meditation and inner sacred grove visualization deity). Your videos are always beautifully done and informative, so I'd be stoked to see what you conjure up with those! Thank you for your content!

As both a devotee of Brigid and a hobbiest blacksmith as a result of my relationship with her I always enjoy seeing different peoples take on this amazing Goddess. Thank you for sharing this video.

In Portugal there is an entire province named after her, where we still celebrate Imbloc since times immemorial.

My profile picture actually represents traditional costumes from this holiday here.

I am very interested in learning more of her and Celtic paganism being I have family from all over the UK in my ansestors and being I'm from the USA I've really had a difficult time to find reliable sources and finding any guidance and groups or pages and a friendly community to meet others and find friends that share the same interest. Thank you blessings to you and your.

I think the triple form symbolizes mind, body, and spirit, among other things.

It is My humble opinion that the triple goddess is every Womans gift of Eternal life. My Wife carried our daughters while she was in her Mother's Womb. The Past, Present and future all existed at once in One Woman. That is fascinating. Anyways, I love your videos. hoping one day you would do a video on Mannan Mac Lir. Beautiful Video on Brigid!!

The way I was raised and taught was that the triple goddesses all represented the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone. With Brigid in particular I've seen her depicted this way with her various arts tied into the different aspects, such as the Mother being the healer and the Crone often doing smithing or other crafts.

Why do you think goddesses often appear in a triple form? Share your thoughts below.

Great video, thank you. I feel a warm connection to her. She's so beautiful.

One small reason our divine Goddesses appear in triple form is because when they are worshipped in another Country, their names change. You all know that though 😆

LOVED this video. And I love your house! I owned a 1850s craftsman mansion for a few years and although it ended up being too much house for me, a single mom at the time, I loved every inch of that house. I cherish my memories of it and seeing you settle into your magical home reminds me of those halcyon days. Congratulations!
