Install Visual Studio Code (VS Code) for ABAP development in SAP [english]

In today's video I will show you how to install Visual Studio Code (VS Code) on your system and how to program ABAP code with it. VS Code also has some disadvantages for ABAP developers, which I will discuss at the end of my video.

◾ You can't run ABAP code in VS Studio, no programs, no method, no function modules....
◾ You cannot debug ABAP code in VS code
◾ One can't create a TA you can only use already existing TA

▬▬ Advantages ▬▬
◾ The IDE presents the code very nicely and it is fun to coding with it.
◾ Creating objects is fast and easy
◾ There are many extensions to install e.g. for CDS highlighting.
